When the inner work needs a wider window.
KAP combines the clinical use of ketamine with depth-oriented psychotherapy, offered in partnership with Journey Clinical. For some clients, it can open a period of greater openness, emotional flexibility, and insight — held inside a careful relationship of preparation and integration.
Therapy is the work. Ketamine helps it land.
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy uses low, sublingual doses of ketamine — prescribed and medically monitored by Journey Clinical's clinicians — within a structured course of psychotherapy. The medicine itself is not the treatment; the relationship and the integration are.
In session, clients often experience a temporary softening of the inner critic, more access to emotion and memory, and an expanded sense of what's possible. We use that window intentionally — to meet long-protected parts, to grieve, to rehearse new ways of being — and then we metabolize it together over the weeks that follow.
For people and partnerships who feel emotionally stuck.
When talk therapy has helped, but the deeper layer hasn't moved.
Held with the same trauma-informed pacing that defines our other work.
When the protective system is tired and ready to soften.
Loss that has gone underground; love with nowhere to go.
For couples or individuals stuck in the same painful choreography.
A sense of disconnection from meaning, possibility, or aliveness.
Preparation, experience, integration.
KAP is offered in a structured protocol. The medicine sessions are bookended by therapy sessions that are equally — often more — important.
We slow down, set intentions, and tend to the parts of you that may have feelings about this work. Safety and consent are the foundation.
Held in a calm, intentional setting. I am present throughout as your therapist; Journey Clinical handles all medical aspects.
The most important phase. Together we translate insight into changed relationships, changed habits, and a changed inner life.
In collaboration with Journey Clinical.
Gray Psychotherapy provides the therapy. Journey Clinical, our medical partner, handles eligibility screening, prescribing, dosing, and ongoing medical monitoring — through their team of licensed physicians and clinicians.
This separation of roles is intentional. It means medical care is handled by medical experts, and the therapeutic relationship remains the steady center of your work. Psychotherapy and integration are not adjuncts to KAP; they are the treatment.
KAP is not appropriate for everyone. Eligibility and any prescribing decisions are made by Journey Clinical's medical team.
