A few honest answers, before we begin.
What is therapy with you actually like?+
Warm, slow-paced, and collaborative. I think out loud with you, ask a lot of curious questions, and we work together to understand what's underneath the patterns you're stuck in. There is no judgment and no script — your nervous system sets the pace.
How long are sessions?+
Sessions are 55 minutes. Most clients meet weekly, especially in the first few months, which tends to give the work the continuity it needs.
Do you offer virtual sessions?+
Yes — my practice is fully virtual. I see clients anywhere in Massachusetts via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.
How does ketamine-assisted psychotherapy work?+
KAP combines low, sublingual doses of ketamine — prescribed and monitored by my medical partner Journey Clinical — with structured psychotherapy. The medicine sessions are bookended by preparation and integration sessions, which are where the lasting change actually takes shape. You can read much more on the KAP page.
What is IFS therapy?+
Internal Family Systems is a deeply respectful approach that views the mind as made up of different 'parts' — protectors, exiles, inner critics — each with their own history and intention. Rather than fighting these parts, we get to know them. Underneath, IFS holds that everyone has a core 'Self' that is calm, curious, and compassionate, and that healing happens through that Self relating to the parts.
Do you work with couples?+
Yes. I work with couples on communication patterns, ruptures, intimacy, and the deeper relational dynamics that keep partners stuck in the same loop. Couples work draws on attachment theory, IFS, and emotionally focused frameworks.
What if I've never done therapy before?+
Welcome — many of my clients are new to therapy. There is nothing you need to prepare. We'll go at a pace that feels safe to you, and I'll explain anything along the way.
How do I get started?+
Reach out via the contact form, email, or phone. We'll schedule a free 20-minute consultation to talk about what's bringing you in and whether we feel like the right fit.
